What is your carbon footprint?

A carbon footprint is "the total set of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions caused by an organization, event or product". For simplicity of reporting, it is often expressed in terms of the amount of carbon dioxide, or its equivalent of other GHGs, emitted.—Wikipedia

Majority of human beings who live in this planet contribute to GHG emissions, majority of which is carbon produced from vehicles, coal plants, and other sources. Excessive emissions of GHG can build up in the atmosphere, creating thick foam around our earth. This GHG foam traps heat in the earth and cause drastic changes in climate and temperature. Those who live a modern lifestyle that is dependent on technology and fossil fuel definitely produces carbon, which contributes to GHG emissions. Your own "carbon footprint" therefore, is about the carbon dioxide emitted as a result of your daily activity. The choices we make in our homes, our travel, and our buying choices, all influence our carbon footprint.

What about your water footprint?

The water footprint is an indicator of water use that includes both direct and indirect water use of a consumer or producer. The water footprint of an individual, community or business is defined as the total volume of freshwater that is used to produce the goods and services consumed by the individual or community or produced by the business. Water use is measured in water volume consumed (evaporated) and/or polluted per unit of time-Wikipedia
